I saw 2 little penguins!!
They were 2 lovely sculptures set into the rock on the walk from Manly to Shelly beach, but I still think it counts, so have awarded myself a smattering of points. We saw lots of bluebottle jellyfish on Bondi beach yesterday, but luckily didn't step on any, as they may be small, but look quite vicious. It's my last day in Sydney, & I've had such an amazing time that I really don't want to leave.
We got the ferry over to Lunar Park on Friday night & had a great time on all the old-fashioned fair ground games, & managed to amaze people with our prowess at the "world's strongest man" game. I will treasure my prize forever. (A Bart Simpson cuddly toy).
There was a parade to celebrate Chinese New Year last night, with a great firework display over Darling Harbour afterwards, so we all did lots of "oohing" & "aaahing" & clapped quite a lot, which was very nice.
I think I might go shopping today, & see what I can find in the way of a white dressless evening strap. Next post from Auckland.x.
